Please Touch Museum

Kids are very intuitive. They like to explore and touch things surrounding them and that is how they learn as they grow. However, not many places of interests would allow children (even adults too!) to touch their exhibits. But, if you are planning a trip to Philadelphia with your family, you should rent one of our buses and bring everyone to the “Please Touch Museum” at 4231 Ave of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131 (Fairmount Park) for a visit. We assure you that just as the name suggests, everything in this museum is “touchable” – yes, the exhibits and displays in Please Touch Museum is meant for visitors to touch while learning and exploring at the same time.

Travel in one of our Philadelphia rental bus and you will realize that our bus drivers are very friendly and punctual. The Please Touch Museum is a children and science museum rolled into one. It is a unique kind of museum where children and adults have vast opportunities to literally “put their hands into everything” that is on display to learn and explore together. Open from Mondays to Saturdays from 9am till 5pm and Sundays from 11am till 5pm, this is definitely a great place for family outings!

The museum has so much for the kids to explore that wearing comfortable walking shoes is very much recommended – many parents have commented that they spent most of their time running after their kids who are so thrilled with the exhibitions and can’t help themselves but to run from one to another to “play”. If we could describe the Please Touch Museum in a few words, it would be – creative, educational and FUN! Many Philadelphians would agree to this as well.

If you are traveling in one of our buses, you may want to consider packing your own lunch for the trip, unless you don’t mind eating at one of the restaurants in the museum or have our bus driver drop you off for food at one of the nearby restaurants. Bringing your own lunch would mean less hassle of having to queue up to buy food when the kids are hungry. You could always use the extra cash for purchases at the Please Touch Museum Store – where they have toys that are educational, children’s books, games, puzzles, gifts and other souvenirs that your kids would love to have.

It would generally take up about 2 to 4 hours for a trip to the Please Touch Museum, but there is no need for you to hurry and finish the trip. Take your time and allow your kids to explore as much as they want before you coax them to climb aboard the Philadelphia rented bus to go home. A happy kid makes the ride home so much more peaceful, right?
